Pricing & Scope

Digital marketing agency pricing & scopeGood decisions.
Clear investment.

Digital marketing agency pricing should make it clear what you are buying. Compare our starting fees, included work and additional costs, then choose the support your business needs.

All fees are starting prices, so VAT, media spend and third-party costs are additional. We work with established businesses across Scotland and the UK.

Digital marketing agency pricing from PURE/RAPID: “The right work. Not more work.” on a mint planning card.
Strategy is included.

The thinking required to manage your services, not an optional extra.

The scope is written.

We agree deliverables, responsibilities and costs before work begins.

Your accounts stay yours.

Your business retains ownership, while we receive the access needed to do the work.

Glasgow roots. UK-wide delivery.
01 / Paid media investmentMedia budget ≠ agency fee

Digital marketing pricing / paid advertising Your ad spend.
The management
behind it.

We recommend at least £2,000 per month in advertising spend for each platform we manage, not £2,000 shared across platforms. Our management fees are separate. However, you do not need to advertise everywhere: we recommend the right channels and budgets based on your business goals, profit margins, market competition and testing requirements.

Every fee is a starting point, not an automatic tariff. These bands cover £2,000–£40,000 monthly media spend per platform, rather than a combined budget. In addition, larger budgets can need more creative testing, optimisation, reporting and specialist oversight. However, complexity matters as much as spend.

The £2,000 recommendation is PURE/RAPID guidance, not a platform-enforced minimum. We also scope original production, major tracking or feed work, extra brands and additional markets separately. Before a material change in scope or budget, we agree any revised fee with you.

Meta AdsMeta Ads management fees

Starting from£1,000per month

For one established business promoting one brand through one Meta ad account in one UK market. Specifically, the starting fee applies to the first media-spend band below.

Included in the starting scope

  • First, we review the account, set the channel strategy and agree first-90-day priorities.
  • We then set up campaigns or make agreed improvements, covering audiences, placements, bidding, budget pacing and ongoing optimisation.
  • In addition, you receive advertising copy, a monthly creative testing brief and up to four simple static adaptations of supplied assets. However, there is no obligation to make assets that the strategy does not need.
  • We also check conversion-event health and interpret performance against available sales or lead-quality information.
  • Each month, you receive a written performance review, next actions and one review call of up to 30 minutes. For multi-service accounts, we also coordinate reviews to avoid duplication.

Not included in this fee

  • Advertising spend, new photography, filming, creator fees, substantial editing and original motion graphics.
  • New landing pages, server-side tracking builds, major Conversions API repairs and CRM integrations.
  • Meta support and account recovery. To keep your management fee focused on campaign performance, assistance with suspended or disabled ad accounts, contacting Meta with you or on your behalf, and recovering access to any personal or business assets, including Pages and profiles, requires a separate, pre-approved quote. These cases can involve extensive checks, appeals and follow-ups, with no guaranteed outcome or timescale. All Meta advertising clients must fund and maintain Meta One Advanced or higher, with support-agent access confirmed for the relevant assets before onboarding can begin.
  • Additional ad accounts, brands, languages or markets; complex catalogue work and intensive asset production.

Your team supplies approved brand assets, offer details and outcome data. We then agree any original production or extra adaptations. Higher-spend or more complex accounts receive a separate delivery scope, rather than an unlimited version of the starting service. Digital marketing agency pricing at this level covers management, not a separate production team.

Google AdsGoogle Ads management fees

Starting from£750per month

For one business, one Google Ads account and one UK market. Before work starts, we agree the campaign types and conversion goals the scope needs.

Included in the starting scope

  • First, we review the account, set the channel strategy and agree first-90-day priorities.
  • We then manage campaign structure, keywords, search terms, negative keywords, ad copy and assets, bids, budgets and ongoing optimisation.
  • In addition, we manage the agreed Search, Shopping or Performance Max activity using an existing, usable product feed where relevant.
  • We also check conversion actions and values, recommend destination-page improvements and review available lead or sales feedback.
  • Each month, you receive a written performance review, next actions and one review call of up to 30 minutes. For multi-service accounts, we also coordinate reviews to avoid duplication.

Not included in this fee

  • Advertising spend, product photography, original video and extensive Performance Max asset production.
  • Merchant Center suspension resolution, large feed rebuilds, custom feed rules, tracking rebuilds and offline conversion integrations.
  • Landing-page development, additional accounts, languages or markets, and complex multi-brand catalogues.

A large catalogue, several conversion journeys or complex measurement can require a higher fee, even at modest spend. However, platform optimisation scores are not a substitute for commercial results. This is why digital marketing agency pricing reflects the account as well as its spend.

TikTok AdsTikTok Ads management fees

Starting from£750per month

For one brand, one TikTok Ads Manager account and one UK market. Before launch, you need a dependable supply of suitable approved video assets.

Included in the starting scope

  • First, we review the account, define the channel strategy and agree first-90-day testing priorities.
  • We then set up campaigns, ad groups and ads, manage audiences, bids and budgets, and optimise the agreed activity.
  • You also receive monthly creative-angle and hook briefs, advertising copy and testing of supplied videos; Spark Ads coordination is included where authorised.
  • We also check TikTok Pixel and Events API health where configured, then interpret conversion and creative performance.
  • Each month, you receive a written performance review, next actions and one review call of up to 30 minutes. For multi-service accounts, we also coordinate reviews to avoid duplication.

Not included in this fee

  • Advertising spend, filming, creators, usage fees, original editing and motion graphics.
  • TikTok Shop operations, affiliate or influencer management, product feed rebuilds and custom integrations.
  • New landing pages, extensive tracking implementation, multiple ad accounts or markets.

TikTok needs appropriate creative, but the starting management fee does not include video production. Before launch, we agree who produces and approves each required asset.

Email marketingEmail marketing prices / four campaigns

Starting from£400per month

Four individually planned, written, assembled and scheduled email campaigns each month, using one existing Omnisend or Klaviyo account.

Included in the starting scope

  • First, we align the monthly campaign plan with promotions, customer needs and the wider marketing plan.
  • We then write and design each campaign within an approved template, using your supplied product information and imagery.
  • Next, we complete agreed audience segmentation, link and mobile checks, one consolidated amendment round per campaign and scheduling after approval.
  • We also provide a monthly campaign-performance summary, interpretation and next actions.

Not included in this fee

  • Platform subscriptions, new template systems, additional sends or resends and extra language versions.
  • New automated flows, substantial flow rebuilds, data migration, list acquisition and complex deliverability repair.
  • Photography, extensive bespoke graphics and unlimited revisions.

One campaign means one agreed broadcast to one agreed audience. For example, a resend or a segment needing different creative counts as another campaign. Routine checks of existing flows are included, but rebuilding them is not. You supply approved offers, assets and a permissioned audience. However, unused campaigns do not roll over.

Email + SMSEmail + SMS prices / four of each

Starting from£500per month

Four manual email campaigns plus four manual SMS campaigns each month, coordinated in one existing supported marketing account. Choose this instead of the email-only service, not as an extra charge on top.

Included in the starting scope

  • First, the four-email service above covers planning, copy, template-based design, quality checks and scheduling.
  • We also deliver four SMS broadcasts with copy, agreed targeting, suppression and opt-out checks, and one consolidated amendment round per campaign.
  • We coordinate email and SMS timing and approvals, then provide a combined monthly performance review.

Not included in this fee

  • Email subscriptions, SMS credits, per-message and carrier charges, and additional broadcasts or resends.
  • New automated flows, list migration, legal advice and consent remediation.
  • Bespoke content production, additional accounts and extra language versions.

Four SMS campaigns means four broadcasts, not four individual texts. However, recipient numbers and message length affect the platform charges you pay directly. Sends still require an approved, eligible audience and suitable consent or another applicable legal basis.

SEOSEO pricing / technical, on-page & content

Starting from£1,000per month

Search work follows the commercial purpose, rather than an arbitrary article quota. Before each month begins, we agree the page or technical task, expected output and effort.

Focused SEO

From £1,000 / month

One website and one agreed priority search area.

Included
  • First, we diagnose the search issues and agree a 90-day priority plan.
  • Each month includes up to two agreed delivery items. For example, an item could cover a page improvement, supplied-content implementation or bounded technical correction.
  • We also review Search Console and analytics, address internal links and report monthly search performance and next actions.
Not included
  • Major development, full-site migrations and multi-language programmes.
  • Digital PR, outreach fees, purchased links and unlimited content.

Growth SEO

From £1,500 / month

A broader delivery programme on the same website.

Included
  • The focused programme plus up to four agreed delivery items each month.
  • We also review priorities quarterly and develop the wider content and internal-link plan.
  • Monthly reporting also connects visibility with available enquiries or revenue.
Not included
  • Original research requiring specialist input; site rebuilds and complex integrations.
  • Full copywriting or technical projects larger than the agreed delivery items.

Established-market SEO

From £2,000 / month

More implementation capacity for a competitive or broader brief.

Included
  • The growth programme plus up to six agreed delivery items each month.
  • We also provide more technical and content coordination within the agreed website scope.
  • Finally, the programme includes monthly review and quarterly strategic planning.
Not included
  • Unlimited brands, countries, languages, development or digital PR.
  • Guaranteed rankings, traffic, leads or revenue are not offered.

One delivery item is a specifically scoped page or technical task, not unlimited work. For example, a larger task may use several items, which we estimate before approval. In addition, reporting, planning and routine checks sit alongside the delivery allowance.

Shopify & CROShopify CRO pricing & scope

One store, a prioritised conversion plan and a clear implementation allowance. As a result, ongoing optimisation does not become an open-ended development contract.

Not included
  • New page templates, custom apps, original creative and store rebuilds.

Included
  • In addition to everything in store care, this includes deeper product, basket and checkout-path analysis.
  • The programme also includes a prioritised conversion plan and up to eight implementation hours monthly in total.
  • Where traffic supports testing, we design the test, then review the monthly results and next decisions.
Not included
  • Large integrations, custom checkout development or new store builds.
  • Paid testing software, creative production and guaranteed conversion uplift.

Advanced Shopify & CRO

From £2,500 / month

For greater testing and implementation needs.

Not included
  • Multi-store or international programmes unless explicitly agreed.
  • Custom apps, major migrations, 24/7 support and unlimited development.

The allowances are total monthly implementation hours, not extra hours added to a lower level. Analysis and the stated review are also included. Unused hours do not roll over, and we agree extra work first. A/B tests need sufficient traffic; otherwise, we explain the limits of before-and-after comparisons. When comparing digital marketing agency pricing, check whether analysis and implementation time are both included.

Discuss an automation brief
Clear before you sign. Your proposal confirms the exact campaigns, assets, tasks, call schedule, approval deadlines and delivery responsibilities. Starting fees assume the stated account and market limits. Higher-volume or more complex work is agreed separately. New-client guide prices do not change an existing client’s signed agreement.
03 / Before onboardingEvidence before a proposal

How we confirm marketing agency pricing We look under
the bonnet.
Before we drive.

Before onboarding, we audit the existing advertising accounts relevant to your brief. This gives you a reasoned view of priorities, risks, creative needs and required work, rather than a generic platform score. As a result, the findings help us confirm digital marketing agency pricing against the work your account actually needs.

For a suitable retained-service enquiry, the standard account review is part of our proposal process. However, a deeper standalone audit, complex multi-account review or extensive research may carry an agreed fee. We confirm that before any paid discovery starts.

Your accounts remain yours. We request the minimum permissions needed and use read-only access where supported. We never ask for passwords or change campaigns during an audit without your approval.

01

Meta account audit

Before recommending a takeover, we review how the account is owned, structured, measured and managed.

Meta business portfolio, Meta Ads Manager and Events Manager.

See the technical checks
  • Meta business portfolio in Meta Business Suite, often referred to as Business Manager: ownership, people, partner permissions, ad accounts, Facebook Pages and Instagram accounts.
  • Meta Ads Manager: campaign, ad set and ad structure; objectives, optimisation events, bidding, audience and placement choices, delivery, spend and creative performance.
  • Events Manager: datasets, Meta Pixel and Conversions API where implemented; conversion events, values, currency, browser/server event deduplication and diagnostics.
  • Catalogue and Commerce Manager connections where relevant; destination pages, lead handling and the available sales evidence behind platform reporting.
02

Google Ads account audit

We examine conversion goals and campaign economics, as well as the systems that inform bidding decisions.

Google Ads, connected measurement and product data.

See the technical checks
  • Google Ads account ownership, access and existing manager-account links; account structure, budgets, bidding and historical performance.
  • Campaigns and assets across the relevant Search, Shopping, Performance Max, Demand Gen and YouTube activity; search terms, exclusions, audiences and product coverage where available.
  • Conversion actions and goals, primary/secondary settings, values, attribution settings and enhanced conversions where configured; linked Google Analytics 4 property and Google Tag Manager container where access is agreed.
  • Merchant Center accounts, feeds and diagnostics for ecommerce; consent signalling and available CRM/offline conversion feedback. Specialist implementation is quoted separately.
03

TikTok account audit

We examine the account, video supply and conversion signals together, rather than judging views in isolation.

TikTok Business Center, TikTok Ads Manager and Events Manager.

See the technical checks
  • TikTok Business Center: asset ownership, partner/member permissions, ad account connections and TikTok account authorisations.
  • TikTok Ads Manager: campaign, ad group and ad structure; objectives, bidding, budgets, audiences, delivery and creative testing history.
  • Events Manager: TikTok Pixel and Events API where configured; selected optimisation events, values, currency, diagnostics and browser/server deduplication.
  • Spark Ads authorisations and usage periods, relevant catalogue connections, destination pages and the order or lead evidence available for comparison.

No existing account? First, we review your offer, audience, destination, measurement plan and budget. Then we scope the launch. An audit identifies issues; fixing them is included only where the agreed scope says so.

04 / One commercial directionThinking is part of the work

Strategy within digital marketing agency pricing Strategy is
not a setup
document.

Your plan should change when the evidence changes. Therefore, every ongoing service includes the strategy needed to manage that service properly, not just an opening document.

Before launch

Diagnose. Prioritise.

First, review the account and business context. Then agree objectives, baselines, measurement and first-90-day priorities.

Throughout the month

Manage. Test. Adjust.

Use performance and client feedback to adjust the work throughout the month, rather than waiting for a presentation.

Every month

Explain the next move.

Explain what happened and why it matters. Then set out what changed, the next actions and what we need from you.

Every quarter

Review the direction.

Refresh channel priorities as the evidence develops. However, the depth of the review and any workshop reflect the contracted scope and complexity.

More than one service? One coordinated plan. Our digital marketing agency pricing includes coordination across the services we manage, rather than disconnected strategies. However, wider advisory, board-level support, major research and business-wide financial modelling are separately scoped. Routine channel judgement is never an extra consultancy charge.

Creative & productionThe goal defines the content

Creative costs within marketing agency pricing Not a pack
of posts.
A reason
to act.

First, we decide what the customer needs to see, understand and believe. Then we agree who makes it. Content serves the strategy, not the other way round.

01 / Your in-house team

Your team creates.
We direct performance.

Your marketers, designers and existing suppliers stay involved. Meanwhile, we supply the advertising angles, briefs, format requirements, testing priorities and performance feedback.

Your team

Produces the agreed assets, then checks accuracy before supplying approvals.

PURE/RAPID

Directs the paid-media brief and coordinates testing, then reports what the evidence supports.

02 / Specialist production

The right specialist.
For the right brief.

When your team needs production support, we scope photography, filming, design, editing or motion graphics with suitable specialists. However, the commercial objective comes before the production brief.

Agreed production

Before production starts, a written quote covers deliverables, shoots, revisions, usage rights, timings and coordination.

PURE/RAPID

Owns the agreed performance direction, briefs and acceptance checks. Meanwhile, supplier costs and our coordination remain explicit.

03 / Hybrid delivery

Keep what works.
Fill the real gaps.

Your team keeps the work it already does well. We then identify missing capabilities and coordinate external production only where the strategy needs it.

Your existing team

Retains brand knowledge and internal resources, as well as existing production relationships.

One accountable plan

Names the owner for every asset, approval and handover, so the same deliverable does not attract duplicate production fees.

Creative strategy and routine advertising copy belong in paid-media management. However, original photography, videography, creator work, substantial design, editing, motion and production coordination are additional unless included. We agree asset deadlines and flag risks early, rather than impose an automatic content quota. Compare digital marketing agency pricing with the same production responsibilities on both sides.

05 / Indicative investmentPlan the spend. Keep it separate.

Digital marketing agency pricing calculator A starting point.
Not a sales bundle.

Use the digital marketing agency pricing calculator to select only the services you are considering. It separates recurring fees, media budgets and one-off projects, while the audit and written scope confirm your quote.

The calculator needs JavaScript. However, all prices and scopes remain available above, and the contact link below still works.

Paid media / select a channel and its monthly spend

Other recurring services / optional

One-off projects / optional

Production, complex setup, software and VAT are additional. Implementation depends on feasibility, so a review does not commit you to a build. You do not need account access or personal details to use this calculator.

06 / Working togetherClear from the beginning

Marketing agency pricing and payment terms No blurred
lines.

01

Commitment

Three months to begin.

Monthly managed services start with a three-month minimum term. We use that period to establish the baseline, implement priorities and learn from the results. It is a commitment to the agreed work, not a guarantee that every commercial goal will be achieved within three months.

By contrast, one-off websites, landing pages, audits and implementation projects have their own milestones and payment schedule.

02

Ongoing management

Monthly after that.

After the first three months, management continues on rolling monthly billing periods. There is no new automatic three-month commitment. However, the agreed notice requirement still applies.

Budgets, scope changes and extra work are agreed in writing before delivery. We do not retrospectively increase your management fee because a platform spent more.

03

Payments

The month in advance.

PURE/RAPID invoices your management retainer for the coming month, before that month’s service starts.

Your business pays Meta, Google and TikTok directly for advertising, using your own platform billing arrangements. We agree and manage your campaign budgets with you. The platform may bill several times during the month as advertising costs accumulate, based on its billing threshold or payment schedule.

A billing threshold is a payment trigger, not your agreed advertising budget. Platform availability and account settings determine which billing options can be changed.

Your business also pays approved software subscriptions, apps and usage charges directly to the provider. These are separate business costs, not costs absorbed by the agency or included in the management fee.

For the platform rules behind this, see Google Ads payment settings.

04

Leaving

60 days’ notice.
Then the billing-period end.

Send written notice. We count 60 calendar days from receipt, then end the service at the first billing-period end on or after that date. The service cannot end before your initial three-month minimum is complete. You may give notice during that initial term.

We continue the agreed work and monthly invoicing until the confirmed final date. We confirm that date in writing and agree the account handover. Depending on when you give notice, the remaining period can be longer than 60 days.

Example: your initial term is complete and your billing periods are calendar months. We receive notice on 15 January. The 60-day point falls in March, so your final service day is 31 March. Your last full monthly management fee covers March.

This is the proposed new-client engagement structure. Your signed agreement records your actual start date, billing periods, notice route, scope and handover. Existing clients keep their current terms unless a change is agreed. Nothing on this page changes an existing contract.

Questions before a commitment

Digital marketing agency pricing questions Useful
answers.

How is your digital marketing agency pricing calculated?

Our digital marketing agency pricing starts with the stated scope. The audit then confirms the work, spend, markets, creative supply and reporting required. We agree the fee and responsibilities before you commit.

What ad spend sits outside marketing agency pricing?

We recommend at least £2,000 a month in media spend per platform, separate from management fees. However, this is our guidance, not a platform minimum. Competition, customer value and testing needs may justify more.

How does marketing agency pricing change above £40,000?

Above £40,000 per platform, an in-depth audit and strategy discussion come before the quote. Together, we review complexity, measurement, goals, markets, creative, reporting and specialist capacity. There is no automatic percentage fee or published ceiling.

Does digital marketing pricing include ongoing strategy?

Channel strategy is included, from initial priorities through ongoing decisions and monthly recommendations. We also review the direction quarterly. However, an extra workshop or wider business advisory needs a separate agreement. Therefore, routine channel thinking does not attract an added fee.

Can you work with our marketing team and existing agency?

Yes. First, we agree who owns strategy, production, approvals, account changes and reporting. Your team or suppliers can then produce creative while we direct paid-media testing. As a result, we avoid duplicated work and make any production fee explicit.

What counts as an email or SMS campaign?

One manual campaign means one broadcast to an agreed audience. The email service includes four monthly broadcasts, while the combined service includes four emails and four SMS broadcasts. However, extra sends, resends and materially different versions are additional. Platform and SMS message charges are also separate.

How does marketing agency pricing work across several services?

Not automatically. We coordinate the plan, reporting and review so you are not buying disconnected activity. However, the fee reflects the actual combined work and responsibilities. We recommend extra services only when there is a clear business case.

Do we own the accounts and the work?

Your business retains its advertising accounts and customer data, while access goes to the people who need it. In addition, your project agreement defines ownership and handover of commissioned work. However, third-party themes, stock assets and creator content keep their own licence terms.

Does this marketing agency pricing guide change our existing fees?

No. This digital marketing agency pricing guide covers new engagements and additional scope, rather than changing existing contracts. Your current fees and notice terms remain in place until we discuss and agree a change. In other words, a new public price is not a retrospective invoice.

Do you guarantee rankings, sales or return on ad spend?

No. We commit to the work, measurement and decision process, but demand, margins, stock, approvals, creative and the sales journey also affect results. Therefore, we explain attribution limits and assess business outcomes where reliable data permits.
