What This Policy Covers
This policy explains how PureRapid uses cookies, pixels, tags, local storage, scripts, software development kits, server-side events and similar storage or access technologies on purerapid.com.
These technologies help us operate the website, remember preferences, understand how the website is used, measure marketing performance and, where you have given the required permission, support advertising and attribution.
For information about how PureRapid handles personal information more generally, including your rights, retention and data sharing, read our Privacy Policy.
What Cookies and Similar Technologies Are
Cookies are small data files placed on or read from your browser or device. Similar technologies can recognise a browser or device, remember a preference, measure a visit, record an interaction, connect an advertising click with a later enquiry or conversion, or transmit an event to another platform.
Some technologies are set directly by PureRapid. Others are provided by third-party services we use. Some operate within your browser, while others may send permitted measurement events through server-side or tag-management systems.
When We Ask for Consent
Where required, we ask for your permission before using non-essential technologies. This includes technologies used for advertising, remarketing, attribution, audience creation, heatmaps, session analysis, profiling and certain analytics or measurement activities.
Rejecting non-essential cookies does not prevent you from accessing the main website.
Some technologies do not require consent where they are strictly necessary to provide functionality you have requested, maintain security, transmit communications or remember your privacy choices.
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawing consent affects future use of those technologies and does not make previous processing unlawful where valid permission had already been provided.
Technology Categories
Providers We Use
Depending on the page you visit, the campaign that brought you to the website and the choices you make in our cookie settings, the following services may receive or process information:
- Google Analytics 4 for website traffic, devices, referral sources, page activity and overall website performance.
- Hotjar for website-experience research, including heatmaps and interaction analysis.
- Meta Pixel and Meta Business Tools for advertising measurement, conversion attribution, audience creation and remarketing, including permitted browser and server-side events.
- Google Ads and related Google tags for conversion measurement, campaign attribution and remarketing.
- HYROS to help connect advertising journeys with leads, enquiries or conversions and improve attribution.
- Omnisend for email subscriptions, marketing automation, campaign engagement and attribution.
- Website and infrastructure providers including hosting, security, consent-management, form, testing and tag-management services required to operate, protect and measure the website.
Providers may change the names, storage methods or duration of their technologies. Our live cookie preference system provides the most current information about the technologies available on your visit.
Indicative Cookie and Technology Register
The following examples explain the types of technologies that may be used. Actual technologies can change as providers update their systems or our configuration changes.
This register is indicative rather than exhaustive. You can use our cookie settings and your browser’s storage tools to see or control technologies available on your device.
Information These Technologies May Process
Depending on the technology used and the choices you make, information may include:
- IP address
- browser and device information
- approximate location
- referring website or page
- pages visited
- scroll and click activity
- visit time and duration
- consent status
- advertising identifiers
- campaign and UTM parameters
- form or enquiry events
- purchases or other conversion events
- email engagement
We do not intentionally send payment-card information, passwords, special-category personal information or the free text of confidential form messages to advertising platforms.
Pixels, Server-Side Events and Attribution
Not all website measurement depends on a traditional browser cookie. PureRapid may use tracking pixels, conversion APIs, enhanced conversions, server-side events and attribution platforms.
These technologies may send selected events to services such as Meta, Google or HYROS.
Where an event is used for advertising, profiling, matching, remarketing or similar non-essential purposes, it remains subject to the appropriate privacy and consent controls. Using a server-side method instead of a browser-based tag does not automatically make a technology strictly necessary.
Heatmaps and Session Analysis
We may use Hotjar to understand how visitors navigate the website, which areas receive interaction and where the user experience can be improved.
Where enabled, we configure the service to reduce unnecessary collection and do not intentionally use it to capture passwords, payment details or sensitive free-text form content.
Where individual-level interaction or session analysis requires consent, Hotjar will only be enabled after that consent has been provided.
Email and Omnisend Tracking
Marketing emails sent through Omnisend may use tracking pixels, tagged links or similar technologies. Depending on your settings and the technologies available, these can provide information about email delivery, opens, link clicks, device information, campaign engagement and resulting website activity or conversions.
This information helps us operate email automations and understand campaign performance.
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the unsubscribe link included in our marketing communications.
Your email-marketing preferences and website-cookie preferences are separate. Changing one does not necessarily change the other.
Manage or Withdraw Your Choices
You can reopen our cookie preference centre at any time to review or change your choices. You can accept or reject non-essential categories and change that decision later.
You can also delete cookies and other stored website information using your browser settings. Deleting stored cookies may remove the record of your existing preference, which means the website may ask you to make your choices again.
Browser controls may not automatically reverse processing that was validly triggered before your settings were changed.
Browser Signals and Blocking Tools
Most modern browsers allow you to restrict, block or delete cookies. Privacy extensions, content blockers and other tools may also restrict scripts and tracking technologies.
Different browsers and privacy tools communicate preferences in different ways and there is not one technical signal that operates identically across every service and jurisdiction.
Where applicable law requires us to recognise a valid privacy or opt-out signal, we will handle that signal accordingly. A browser’s general Do Not Track setting may not, by itself, communicate a legally standardised preference.
Audits, Durations and Policy Changes
We periodically review the technologies used on purerapid.com.
We may update our cookie settings and this policy where providers, technologies, purposes, our website or legal and regulatory requirements change.
Actual cookie duration may be shorter than the maximum period stated in this policy because of browser deletion, consent withdrawal, provider settings or changes to our own configuration.
If we introduce a materially different advertising, profiling or similar purpose that requires fresh permission, continued use of the website will not by itself be treated as consent. We will request the permission required at that time.
